Mikalor Bridge clamp ASFA-S | 12 mm | W2

 

The Mikalor ASFA-S Bridge Clamp is a specially developed worm screw hose clamp that is suitable for extraction hoses and ventilation hoses that are provided with an outer spiral. The "bridge" installed in the clamp falls over the spiral, which perfectly seals the hose and hose clamp. There is no better solution.

 

Design according to DIN 3017. The stainless steel band is relatively thin and supple, yet strong, so that when tightening the clamp, it fits well around the circumference of the hose. The threads have been rolled cold in the outer circumference of the belt, so that the inside is completely flat. Moreover, the fastening of the housing to the belt is constructed in such a way that the inside of the belt is also hardly interrupted there. All this ensures a perfect connection to the hose circumference and a particularly good seal. To prevent damage to the hose, the belt edges have been turned outwards.

 

We have different sizes of bridges available, for a spiral diameter of Ø 4 and Ø 7 mm. Standard we use the bridge for a spiral diameter of Ø 4. If you have a thicker spiral on the hose, please contact us and we make a proposal for the right clamp with bridge.  The bridge clamp is supplied as standard with 1 bridge in sizes 32-50 mm to 140-160 mm, and with 2 bridges from 150-170 to 220-240 mm

 

The quality of this bridge clamp is W2, which means that the band is made of stainless steel (SS 430) and the housing and screw are made of galvanized steel.

Most spiral hoses have a right-handed spiral and therefore require a right-handed bridge clamp. Look carefully at which direction the spiral of your hose rotates (see photo above) and choose the correct direction of rotation!!
