The VPG Rapid Response Commercial Clamp is designed to reduce leakage from damaged pressurized lines more quickly and with less risk of damage to the operator than any competitive system on the market. The RRC is by far the fastest method of repairing a pipe under pressure. Originally developed for use in warships, Pipe Repair Technology is now available in three variants.
The VPG Rapid Response Clamp - HP 40 was developed in response to customer demand for increased pressure and temperature handling capabilities utilising the same patented features. The HP 40 Clamp has significantly increased strength but maintains the same easy to use, quick action features. Developed primarily for high pressure steam and certain Oil and Gas market applications. This Rapid Response Clamp will seal to a maximum 600 psi ( 40Bar ) *

An important design advantage is that each clamp covers a wide diameter range. Only 8 different sizes are needed to span the standard range from 38mm to 930mm. Clamps for larger diameters are available on request.
Each clamp is ordered as standard with nitrile as sealing material (covers 90%+ of applications including potable water). If desired, a high-quality HNBR (Viton) seal for applications at higher temperatures, eg steam pipes, can be supplied instead of the Nitrile seal.
The VPG Rapid Response clamps are also available in the variants:
- MILSPEC - up to a pressure of 300 PSI (20 Bar)*
- COMMERCIAL - up to 150 PSI (10 Bar) pressure*
