UNI-Coupling UNI-FLEX S | W5 | NBR sealing | PN 16
You use this UNI-FLEX coupling when you do not need a tensile-resistant connection or when the pipes are subject to shrinkage and stretch. It is a flexible coupling that allows expansion and contraction of pipes.
The UNI-FLEX can be mounted on metal pipes, plastic pipes or a combination of both. The use of insert stiffeners for installation on PE, PVC, PP or PB pipes is recommended.
The UNI-FLEX coupling is widely used by contractors, civil engineers and water authorities and are available in sizes from 21 mm to 4000 mm.
What is the difference between the UNI-FLEX and the UNI-REP coupling?
The UNI-REP and UNI-FLEX couplings are almost identical to each other. However, the UNI-REP has cut edges at the bottom of the housing, making the UNI-REP suitable for repairing pipes. The UNI-REP can be bent open by the incised edges and placed around a pipe. The UNI-FLEX can only be placed on the end of 2 pipes. (See video at UNI-REP)
