Developed and manufactured in New Zealand, TruDesign Marine Hinges are an excellent option for securing hatches, doors, and locker covers in marine conditions. These hinges are made from a glass-reinforced nylon composite. The high-strength, high-modulus glass fibers infused in the nylon deliver exceptional strength, stiffness, toughness, and dimensional stability. A stainless steel pin links the two hinges

The hinges are available in four versions, each supplied in a pair:

Black, short (48 + 48 mm = 96 mm)
White, short (48 + 48 mm = 96 mm)
Black, long (48 + 86 mm = 134 mm)
White, long (48 + 86 mm = 134 mm)

Features:

Manufactured from a glass reinforced nylon composite - High strength and light weight.
Compatible with all hull types - Can be used on aluminum, steel, wood or GRP hulls.
Immune to corrosion and electrolysis - Maintains Strength. Will not discolour with green film as similar bronze fittings do.
Chemical resistant - Impervious to diesel, petrol, and antifouling paints.
UV resistant - Will not break down with ultraviolet light or discolour.
