TruDesign - Aquavalve | Straight tail | Nylon (Fiberglass reinforced)

The Tru-Design Aquavalve is the most versatile valve on the market today. A range of fittings is available to suit the variability of marine plumbing applications. These fittings can be used on the Aquavalve, Aquavalve through Bulkhead, Electronic Aquavalve or 3 Way Connector.

Straight Tails are suited to standard sizes of tubing. Tails come with a thicker Blue Seal to allow the fitting to be rotated to a more suitable position, if required.

Available in 4 sizes, in Black or White:

19 mm Hose tail --> 1½ BSP male thread
25 mm Hose tail --> 1½ BSP male thread
32 mm Hose tail --> 1½ BSP male thread
38 mm Hose tail --> 1½ BSP male thread

Features:

The use of 2 hose clamps is recommended for secure hose fitting
Tru-Design Aquavalve Accessories use a 1½” BSP thread for securing the fitting. This is matched to the same thread on the Aquavalve body. The thread is not used for sealing. A thermoplastic rubber seal provides the sealing function.
The Aquavalve and accessories are suitable for use in the USA even though they are not NPS compatible. They form a self contained unit and are not required to interface with other components.
Do not use other fittings as they may interfere with Aquavalve operation or sealing. Not recommended for use with Ball Valves – please select from our Tail Long Thread fittings
BSP thread
Glassfiber-reinforced nylon composite, extremely strong and ultralight.
No corrosion or electrolysis.
Suitable for aluminum, steel, wood, and fiberglass vessels.
UV-resistant.
Resistant to most chemicals, including diesel, gasoline, cleaners, and antifouling.
Temperature range: -40ºC to +110ºC.

All angled Aquavalve hose connectors come with a blue sealing ring. This blue sealing ring is thicker than the red sealing ring (which comes standard with the Aquavalve Y-valve). The straight hose connector does not require a (thick) blue sealing ring; the red (thin) sealing ring supplied with the Y-valve is sufficient. This is because a straight hose connector has no angle to consider.

In addition to the straight Aquavalve hose connector, we also offer 90º and 120º versions.

The installation key is included standard with the Y-valve but can also be ordered separately. Additional red (thin) and blue (thick) sealing rings are also available.
