TruDesign - Aquavalve | 2x Male thread | Nylon (Fiberglass reinforced) | 1½" BSP

The threaded connector can be used to connect a standard PVC fitting to 1½” BSP thread

The short section of thread is used to attach to the Manual or Electronic Aquavalves, the long section for attaching to a standard PVC fitting so that PVC pipe can be solvent glued into it.

Available in 1 sizes, in Black or White:

1½ BSP male thread

Features:

Tru-Design Aquavalve Accessories use a 1½” BSP thread for securing the fitting. This is matched to the same thread on the Aquavalve body. The thread is not used for sealing. A thermoplastic rubber seal provides the sealing function.
The Aquavalve and accessories are suitable for use in the USA even though they are not NPS compatible. They form a self contained unit and are not required to interface with other components.
Do not use other fittings as they may interfere with Aquavalve operation or sealing. Not recommended for use with Ball Valves – please select from our Tail Long Thread fittings
BSP thread
Glassfiber-reinforced nylon composite, extremely strong and ultralight.
No corrosion or electrolysis.
Suitable for aluminum, steel, wood, and fiberglass vessels.
UV-resistant.
Resistant to most chemicals, including diesel, gasoline, cleaners, and antifouling.
Temperature range: -40ºC to +110ºC.
