This male threaded elbow, made of nickel-plated brass, has an external BSPT thread. This means the thread is conical (tapered). A hose tail is located on the other side of the elbow.
The male elbow can be rotated in the application by placing a suitable wrench on the elbow. Because the thread is tapered, you don't need a rubber ring. However, sealant or tape is recommended.
