TruDesign - Tank monitor system | Aqualarm

The Tank Monitor System can be assembled from various components. It consists of a display (Recessed or surface-mounted) and a sensor (short or long). You can measure whether the tank is almost full or almost empty.

The Sensor:

TruDesign Tank Sensors, designed and manufactured in New Zealand, are a simple and reliable solution for detecting tank levels. The tank sensor is designed to activate when (for example) a wastewater tank is almost full, warning of an overflowing tank. Or, by simply reversing the float on the sensor, the tank monitor light will illuminate when the tank level falls below the float. For use with the Tank Monitor Display Panel.

Features:

Manufactured to withstand chemicals used in toilets.
Prevent unsanitary and unpleasant overflows.
Reversible float monitor can illuminate when the tank is full or empty.
Low power consumption. Simple LED circuitry will not drain your battery.
Sealed tank fitting. A gasket or pipe thread ensures a tight seal in the tank.
The tank monitor must not be used for gasoline, diesel, or other flammable liquids.

Two types of sensors are available:

Short version:

103 mm deep (90311)
Mounts with screws to the tank

Long version:

185 mm deep (90460)
Mounts with ¾” BSP thread

The Tank Monitor Display Panel:

The display uses an LED light to indicate whether the tank is almost full or empty.

Suitable for drinking water, wastewater, and/or black water.

There are currently three types of displays available because TruDesign is updating its models:

Surface-mounted, 12 Volt, 90310
Flush-mounted, 12 Volt, old model, Aqualarm, 90309-aqualarm
Flush-mounted, 12 Volt, new model, Tank Monitor Display Panel, 90309

A 24 Volt Recessed model (90915) is also available upon request (longer delivery time).
