Murray Constant Tension Worm Drive Clamp | Type SLHD & SLF
The Murray Worm Screw Clamp has Washers, so that the hose clamp can move with thermal expansion or contraction. This keeps the clamping force constant and prevents the hose from being damaged, leaking or coming loose.
The difference between Type SLHD and Type SLF:
SLHD Series:
- Band, case and rings are 300 grade stainless steel
- Screw is 400 series stainless steel (Other material combinations on request)
- Band width = 16.51mm (5/8")
- Liner is a welded shield to prevent a soft hose from protruding through the belt slots
SLF series:
- Band and housing are made of 304 stainless steel
- Washers are stainless steel 301
- Screw is 400 series stainless steel (Other material combinations on request)
- Band width = 14.29mm (9/16")
- Liner is an extended strap to prevent a soft hose from protruding through the band slots
