Herbie Clip Plastic (Nylon) Hose Clamp – Double Grip
Manufactured by HCL, the Herbie Clip® is the original Double Grip plastic hose clip. It is a quick and easy to install nylon hose clamp with exceptional strength arising from its unique double row of interlocking toothed jaws. The double row of teeth offers over twice the clamping force achieved by similar products with only a single row of teeth. No other nylon hose clamps can rival the Herbie Clip in terms of overall strength and performance.
The clamps are resistant to fuel, they can be inside the tank immersed in fuel.
However as always, test to ensure it is suitable for you application.
Temperature range: Nylon 6.6 -40°C to 170°C
The Herbie Clip is made from general purpose PA66 plastic (they are not produced with medical grade plastic) so it is not possible to provide a “Pharma Certificate”.
If you require a declaration for specific legislation (i.e. RoHS, REACH SVHC, California Prop 65, EU POPs, BSE/TSE compliance, Latex/PVC compliance), please contact our office. We may be able to provide these to you upon request.
The Herbie Clip is also available on request in Polypropylene (PP, Temp: -40°C to 90°C)
Unfortunately, the Herbie Clip is NOT available in a glass filled version. This would make the Herbie Clip too stiff and it could break.
However, if you require a hose clamp made of glass filled nylon, we can produce the Ezyclik hose clamp in nylon 66GF. These work perfectly, and we make them in this quality for applications at higher temperatures.
