The pipe rupture sealing clamps are made of solid cast iron, are extremely durable, and can be used for drinking water and gas pipes. The material is given a cathodic dip-coating before vulcanization, resulting in exceptional corrosion resistance. Large lamellae in the sealing profiles ensure simple and reliable bridging of any irregularities in the pipe wall.
These clamps are perhaps even better known by their old name: Melcher-Frenzen Armaturen.
Features:
- The clamps can be used for many types of pipes, such as steel, PVC, cast iron, AC, and PE pipes.
- Suitable for repairing drinking water and gas pipes.
- Available from DN 40 to DN 300.
- Nominal pressure: Standard PN 16, PN 25 available upon request.
- Temperature range: -20ºC - +110ºC
Outside the specified temperature ranges, an EPDM compound is available on request for continuous loads up to +150 °C (e.g. for district heating).
The clamps are equipped with stainless steel nuts and bolts with a Gliss coating (see PDF), making them easy to install in difficult, dirty conditions. Also available with galvanized steel nuts and bolts. (CLICK HERE)

- Also available for higher pressures and district heating.
