Hose Barb / push in spigot according to VDA (suitable for NORMAQUICK® PS3)
The VDA hose spigot has a nominal diameter of 8 mm (NW 08). This means the internal diameter of the spigot is 8 mm. The hose nipple allows for the connection of hoses with an internal diameter of 10 mm. We also recommend securing the hose to the hose nipple with a suitable hose clamp. The exact product dimensions can be found in the drawing above.
These VDA-compliant hose couplings (compatible with NORMAQUICK® PS3) have been a proven connection solution in vehicle construction for many years. These plug-in systems are primarily used for fluid-carrying lines in temperature control systems (coolant/heating lines), intake air systems, and fuel systems. A NORMAQUICK® PS3 coupling is required as a counterpart to the coupling on the fluid-carrying line.
