The TruDesign Aquavalve (Y valve) is designed and made in New Zealand. Legislation in many countries dictates the use of holding tanks near shore, or in defined areas. By installing a diverting valve (Y Valve), the user has the choice to divert black water to a holding tank or directly overboard when circumstances allow.
Features:
- Stainless steel fasteners - Will not corrode in salt laden air.
- Easy installation - With a range of straight, 90° and 120° tails, and two seal options, plumbing in confined spaces is made easy.
- Handle position lockable - Legislation in some regions require the overboard discharge handle to be locked into the holding tank position when in ‘no discharge’ zones
- Available in black or white - Fits in with colour schemes in plumbing areas allowing easy identification of components
- Pressure tested - All valves are pressure tested to ensure quality and safety in respect to sealing and operation
- Silicon seal - The Aquavalve® is the only valve on the market today with smooth movement and an excellent seal with good wear resistance
- Composite spanner included - Avoids using pipe wrenches that gouge the fitting. Facilitates access in tight places
- Fascia plate on standard model can be removed to reveal simple “open - open - inlet” labeling - Where product is not used for marine toilets, all toilet references are removed.
- Note bulkhead hole diameter for Aquavalve through Bulkhead is 49.0mm
The Aquavalve Y- valve is supplied without hose connectors as standard. We offer a wide range of connectors to help you choose the right one for your application.
If the hose connector's red sealing ring in the Aquavalve isn't suitable for the orientation of the hose connector, a blue sealing ring is included with each 120° and 90° hose connector. This allows the user to rotate the hose connector in a different direction that better suits the new installation. The blue sealing ring is thicker than the red sealing ring.

We can supply the 3-way valve in 3 versions:
- Surface-Mounted - White
- Surface-Mounted - Black
- Bulkhead - White
You can also choose from several accessories:
- Aquavalve Silicone Seal Kit - A spare set for the internals of the 3-way valve
- Composite Key - An additional key for installing the hose connections
- Extender for the bulkhead version - The 3-way valve fits a maximum bulkhead thickness of 15 mm as standard. The extension allows for a bulkhead thickness of up to 37 mm.
- Front Upgrade Pack - A set of additional front plates. The plates are reversible, allowing you to reverse the pipes.
- Aquavalve Red Ring (Thin) – An extra red ring. (Comes standard with the 3-way valve.)
- Aquavalve Blue Ring (Thick) – An extra blue ring. (Comes standard with the 90º and 120º Aquavalve hose connector.)
