NORMA V-Band clamp | Quick release | Type "ZY" | W4 (AISI 304)
This Norma V-band clamp is widely used for closing low-pressure applications, such as filter valves and exhaust systems.
The quick release is a lever, with Allen bolt (ZY) and the clamp is 20 mm wide.
The clamp is made of 304 stainless steel (1.4301), one of the most commonly used stainless steel grades. (With the exception of the cylinder screw, which is made of A2 stainless steel.)
These are not suitable for aggressive environments, such as seawater and coastal areas. 304 stainless steel is very sensitive to acids and chlorides, which can cause corrosion.
